These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Jordan Treasures Tours. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. How to Book This Tour:
– After booking your tour online, one of our consultants will contact you within 24 hours to confirm the details.
– To secure your booking:
1. A 25% deposit is required, payable by credit card or bank transfer.
2. The full payment must be completed at least 14 days before the tour start date.
2. Pricing:
– All prices are quoted in all currencies and include services specified in the itinerary.
– Prices do not include personal expenses, optional activities, or services not mentioned in the package.
3. Cancellations & Changes:
– All cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing. Charges apply as follows:
1. $50 USD per person for cancellations from the date of booking until 31 days before departure.
2. 25% of the total tour price for cancellations or changes made 30 to 8 days before departure.
3. 100% of the total tour price for cancellations or changes made 7 to 1 days before departure, or in case of no-show.
4. Refunds:
– Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
– Transaction fees charged by credit card companies or banks are non-refundable.
5. Travel Documents & Insurance:
– Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and health requirements.
– Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellations, medical expenses, and personal belongings.
6. Practical Information – Jordan Visa Requirements:
– Most nationalities can obtain a Jordan visa on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Aqaba Airport, or at land border crossings.
– Visa fees typically range from 40–50 JOD, but some travelers may be exempt.
– Certain nationalities can also apply for an e-Visa via the official Jordan e-Visa portal.
– Holders of a Jordan Pass (purchased online before arrival) receive visa-free entry and access to many attractions, including Petra.
– Check-in & Check-out Times
– Hotel check-in: Usually from 2:00 PM (early check-in may be available on request).
– Hotel check-out: Usually by 12:00 PM (noon) (late check-out may be available on request).
– Currency & Payments
– The local currency is the Jordanian Dinar (JOD).
– Major credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shops. Carry small amounts of cash for tips, markets, and small purchases.
– Electricity & Plugs.
– Voltage: 230V / 50Hz.
– Plug types: C, D, F, G. A universal adapter is recommended.
– Language: Arabic is the official language.
– English is widely spoken in hotels, tourist areas, and major cities.
– Time Zone: Jordan operates on GMT +3 (same as Amman local time).
7. Liability:
– Jordan Treasures Tours works with trusted local suppliers (hotels, guides, transport providers).
– We are not liable for delays, injuries, losses, or expenses caused by natural disasters, strikes, accidents, or events beyond our control.
– Participation in adventure activities (such as jeep tours, hiking, or camel rides) is at the client’s own risk.
8. Changes to Itinerary
– Minor adjustments may occur due to weather, road conditions, or operational reasons.
– Jordan Treasures Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries while ensuring the quality of the experience.
9. Governing Law
– The laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan govern these terms.
